Looking For Ways to Improve Your Home Comfort?

Berkeley Bathroom Remodeling They say that change can be good for the soul. It does not need to be some earth shattering change either, it can be as simple as improving your bathroom. That may seem a little odd, but the bathroom can be used as a mini vacation to escape the stress of the day and rejuvenate the spirit.

The bathtub: For example, one way to reduce stress and to feel happier is to take a long soak in a tub. However, that may not be possible with the tub that you have now. Add places for candles and shelves for your essential oils and you will have a small oasis all to yourself.

Shower: Not really a bath kind of person? That does not mean you can't add a luxurious shower with multiple massage heads and a sauna feature. Add a wireless radio to sing all your troubles away.

Lighting: Lighting plays an important part when it comes to creating a happy no stress environment. There is going to be a need for softer lightening for when you are relaxing in the tub. However, you are going to need to have the appropriate lighting for applying makeup and other grooming.

A place for everything: Just having space for everything can help to reduce stress. Plenty of under the sink space is important so the top of the vanity does not get cluttered. Having closet space for towels and other bathroom necessities should be in the plan as well.

Making it your space: Houses come with bathrooms and we sometimes get to preoccupied to take the time to make them our own. Whether it is hanging some pictures on the wall or finding a cute shower curtain. It is a place that we need to utilize more to help reduce stress. If sharing a bathroom, make sure to compromise and make changes that will make you both happier. Turning your bathroom into a mini spa retreat is probably one of the best things you can do for your overall well-being.
